Position: Assembler
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd shift - Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Saturdays as needed
Location: Byron Center, MI
- Inspect parts and components to ensure they meet quality standards
- Assemble products according to work orders and print specifications
- Package finished products and prepare for shipment
- Operate overhead crane to move products safely
- Conduct final inspections of completed assemblies
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to understand instructions from drawings, blueprints, or written details
- Effective communication skills, ability to work in a team or independently
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and standing for entire shifts
- Packaging and inspection proficiency
- Overhead crane operation (training provided)
- Blueprint reading and measurements to 32nd of an inch
- Use of hand tools and safety PPE compliance
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
