Two full-time contract positions are available, both covering maternity leaves and providing vital support to K-12 students in an onsite school setting. These opportunities will position you at the heart of school-based therapy as you help students reach their communication goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Active Connecticut SLP license (must be obtained prior to assignment)
- Prior experience providing speech-language pathology services in a school setting
- Comfortable working with students across all grade levels (K-12)
- Availability for a full-time, 35-hour workweek
- Able to pass district fingerprinting and background check
- Must attend interviews via Zoom
- SLPAs will not be considered
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group-based speech therapy to K-12 students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input for student success
- Adapt interventions to accommodate diverse student needs
