Yard Jockey

Responsibilities MUST BE OPEN TO DAY SHIFT, NIGHT SHIFT AND WEEKEND WORK Position responsibilities: The Yard Jockey is responsible for loading straps, racks, and shippers onto truck during the loading process You will assist with pallet building and unloading of trucks to maintain organization of pallets and shells This role ensures that the hand trucks and tow motors are charged and put in their respective places for drivers as well as all DSD routes have a fully charged mule on trailer prior to leaving the dock The Yard Jockey maintains general cleanliness of the warehouse and yard and assists with replenishment of product in the warehouse Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Education and Experience: Must be at least 21 years old 0 to 1 plus years of specific driving experience Class A CDL Permit to Class A CDL license Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds Preferred Education and Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree Benefits At the Reyes Family of Businesses, our Total Rewards Strategy prioritizes the holistic well-being of our employees.
