Cook Lead – Food Truck
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cook Lead to oversee daily operations for our food truck. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading a team, and is passionate about delivering high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading daily food truck operations, including food prep, cooking, and service
- Supervising and supporting kitchen staff to ensure efficiency and quality
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with ordering supplies
- Ensuring consistency in food presentation and taste
- Providing excellent customer service and handling guest interactions professionally
- Assisting with menu planning and specials as needed
Qualifications include:
- Previous experience in a kitchen leadership role (food truck experience a plus)
- Strong cooking skills and knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Leadership and team management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
