Location: New Salem, North Dakota
Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Variable Evenings | 8-Hour Shifts | 40 Hours per Week
Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Position Overview

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long-Term Care (LTC) assignment in New Salem, North Dakota. This opportunity is ideal for a compassionate nurse who enjoys building meaningful relationships with residents while providing exceptional long-term and skilled nursing care.

The ideal candidate will have previous LTC experience and be comfortable working independently in a skilled nursing environment. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior nursing experience in North Dakota and are familiar with the state's healthcare practices and regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to long-term care and skilled nursing residents.

• Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in resident conditions.

• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders.

• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing assistants, and interdisciplinary care teams.

• Respond promptly to resident needs and medical emergencies.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.

• Educate residents and family members regarding treatment plans and ongoing care needs.

• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards.

Assignment Details

• 13-Week Travel Contract

• Evening Shift (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

• 8-Hour Shifts

• 40 Hours Per Week

• Every Other Weekend Required

• Potential need for multiple travelers

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required

• Prior work experience in North Dakota strongly preferred

• Current BLS certification

• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and resident-centered care approach

• Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing environment
