Job Description & Requirements TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Shrewsbury, New Jersey. Job details: Specialty: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT. Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT to support treatment plan adjustments. Document patient performance and progress accurately and in a timely manner per facility and state guidelines. Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment. Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence in daily activities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care. Comply with state licensing rules and adhere to facility and professional standards. Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Current BLS certification. Current COTA National certification (NBCOT). State‑specific licensure required. Must be able to lift and assist patients safely, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Solid understanding of anatomy, motor function, and occupational therapy principles.
