Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN)

Location: Glenwood, Minnesota
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Variable Days

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide quality nursing care in a long-term care and skilled nursing environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of LPN experience and strong patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents/patients.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the appropriate healthcare provider.
Perform nursing assessments and document patient care accurately.
Assist with developing and implementing patient care plans.
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals.
Provide patient and family education as appropriate.
Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1+ year of LPN experience .
High School Diploma required.
BLS-AHA certification required.
Active LPN license for the State of Minnesota .
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Comfortable working variable day shifts.

Schedule

Variable Day Shift
40 hours/week
Each shift includes a 30-minute unpaid break .
