Assistant Property Manager

Our Background Located in Metro Phoenix, Biltmore Properties has been providing affordable property management services since 1976. With a great reputation and culture, Biltmore is looking to add an administrative assistant to our team to help support regional managers and the main office. Your Role Biltmore Properties Inc is hiring an entry-level Assistant Property Manager for our Mesa office (onsite, full-time; $23.00/hr). This role supports day-to-day property operations by keeping resident communication, vendor coordination, and leasing paperwork organized and moving forward. Key responsibilities include assisting with tenant relations, responding to resident questions, coordinating and tracking maintenance requests, supporting lease administration, and helping with property inspections in partnership with the Property Manager. Required qualifications/skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills with tenants, vendors, and teammates Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel helpful) Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or AppFolio preferred Proactive problem-solving mindset and adaptability If you’re ready to build experience in property management with a steady, professional team, A Typical Day You’ll start the morning by reviewing messages and open items from the prior day, then map out priorities with your manager. Throughout the day, you’ll stay in close contact with residents and vendors, keeping notes current and files accurate. Expect a steady rhythm of quick check-ins, follow-ups, and updates—balancing office work with occasional time out at the property. By late afternoon, you’ll confirm what’s been completed, flag what needs escalation, and set up the next day so nothing slips through the cracks.
