Job Description:

The Clinical Decision Unit is seeking a dedicated RN to handle a fast-paced, quick-turnover environment focusing on ED decompression and enhanced throughput. The role includes receiving patients admitted from the ED, completing Admission Assessments, Medication Reconciliation, and initiating acute care orders.

Responsibilities:

• Manage patient care with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Perform admission assessments and medication reconciliation for new patients.
• Initiate acute care orders and engage in patient throughput processes.
• Work effectively in a dynamic team setting.

Requirements:

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in MedSurg, Telemetry, and Step-Down (PCU).
• Positive attitude with a focus on teamwork.
• Experience or willingness to consider charge nurse responsibilities is appreciated.
