Emergency Room Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing critical care situations and providing high-quality patient care in fast-paced environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patients for responses and side effects.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document nursing interventions and patient progress in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of recent Emergency Room experience required.
• Life support certifications must be from recognized organizations.
• No infractions on the state license to practice.
• Active residency documentation required.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.

Certifications Required

• Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Active Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.

Work Schedule

The role requires a commitment to shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates should be flexible with scheduling, as weekend and on-call shifts may be necessary.

Additional Information

All candidates must be able to start on the determined start date or within one week of that date. Requests for time off cannot exceed seven days and must be submitted with the application.

Black or navy scrubs are required for this position.
