Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, Oncology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards.
• Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed, monitoring patient response and managing side effects.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with varying cancer diagnoses.
• Perform Central Line/Implanted Line Care, including accessing and managing ports and PICC lines.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, treatments, and post-care expectations, ensuring clear communication and support.
• Utilize electronic medical records systems such as Epic to document patient care accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of assignment.
• Current BLS certification required; ONS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of outpatient Oncology experience required.
• Experience with Epic charting systems is advantageous.
• Ability to manage high-stress environments and make quick, effective decisions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
