Revenue Cycle Supervisor

Revenue Cycle Supervisor Supervises and monitors the daily operational functions and staff in an assigned subsection/subunit of a department. Monitor operational workflows, identify issues while focusing on quality assurance, process improvement and departmental goals. Essential Functions Interacts with co-workers, visitors and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson Manages own assigned work queue(s) Monitors daily operations of the team, assists in prioritizing daily work activities, resolving escalated issues, identify trends, address processing delays and areas for improvement Makes recommendations and provides input related to hiring, terminations, performance evaluations Informs staff of changes in policies, procedures, processes, systems, and regulatory laws and requirements. Gathers department metrics and prepares reports for management review Assist in leading, developing and mentoring of staff. Qualifications Education - Required High School Diploma/GED Education - Preferred Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree Experience - Required 3 years related work experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Required Demonstrated supervisory experience Experience in insurance revenue cycle functions (i.e. insurance billing, charge entry, registration, payment posting, reconciliation, etc..)
