Assistant Service Manager

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to join our office in San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities Maintain and foster contacts with facilities operations, owners, consultants, contractors, vendors and material suppliers Act as a subject matter expert regarding electrical engineering activities Interact closely with internal teams to ensure that project needs and objectives are met Interpret plans, specifications, drawings, and documentation related to engineering and construction Coordinate meetings, scheduling updates, submit deliverables and address outstanding "open items" as requested by clients Prepare look‑ahead documents and weekly/monthly progress reports Review and monitor job costs versus budgets Focus on the client: develop an understanding of the client’s culture, key people, and processes Provide guidance and direction for estimators during the estimation process Manage and assist project layout and coordination Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs Coordinate work with Purchasing to ensure requested material is expedited and received as needed for construction Resolve inter‑group conflicts, project conflicts and delays as required to meet project construction goals Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops Responsible for all financial reporting, tracking and projection of all labor, material, job expenses, and changes for each assigned project Maintain all submittal, drawing, correspondence, and change logs Submit, review for added cost, file and log all RFIs Prepare, organize, and manage material buyouts Track major deliveries to jobsites Actively assist project Superintendent and Lead Technician with all miscellaneous issues as necessary (material, information, special items, constructability, etc.) Conduct weekly jobsite visits and attend all jobsite meetings as required Requirements 5+ years of service experience High School Diploma or GED required Service Manager experience preferred Leadership experience required Electrical license required Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr Tutor Perini
