Exciting Opportunity for PACU Registered Nurse Job Description: - Join a dynamic and supportive team where your skills as a nurse are truly valued! - We are seeking passionate PACU Registered Nurses to provide exceptional care in a variety of settings including: - General - Orthopedic - Urology - ENT - Cath lab - Endoscopy - GYN - Pediatrics - Key Responsibilities: - Apply your nursing expertise to deliver routine and complex care to patients. - Utilize the nursing process — assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. - Administer medications and treatments while monitoring side effects and effectiveness. - Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. - Educate patients, families, and caregivers based on identified learning needs. - Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. - Experience: Minimum of 2 years in critical care, PreOp, or in a related nursing specialty. - Licenses/Certifications: - Current BLS certification (AHA only). - Current ACLS certification (AHA only). - Current PALS certification (AHA only). - RN License in the state of TX or compact. - Other Requirements: - Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. - Successful completion of preceptorship with designated staff member. - Completion of all annual competency verification requirements. - Work Schedule: - Full-Time, 5 Days a Week, 8 Hours Per Day. - Flexible 4x10 schedules can be accommodated.
