District Assessment Coordinator (DAC)

School District of Brown Deer

Description

The School District of Brown Deer is seeking to hire a District Assessment Coordinator. This postiion serves as the district leader for the planning, coordination, administration, security, and reporting of local and state assessments. The DAC acts as the primary liasion between the School District of Brown Deer and the Wisconsin Department of Instruction (DPI), ensuring compliancewith state and federal accountibility requirements while supporting data-informed decision making accross the district.

Reports to: Director of Teaching and Learning

Compensation: Stipened

Essential Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the District Assessment Plan and comprehensive assessment calendar
Cooridinate asssessment schedules with building administrators, School Assessment Coordinators (SACs), MTSS teams, and district leadership
Provide leadership in the selection, implementation, and evaluation of district assessment systems and initiatives aligned with district goals
Review and update district assessment guides, procedures, accomodations resources, and supporting documentation
Remain current on assessment trends, DPI requirements, accountibility measures, and best practices through professional learning, DAC networks, and state communications

Required Knowledge and Skills

WISEdata, WISEdash, SAFE, and student assessment data systems
Proficiency in data management, reporting, and compliance monitoring
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and testing windows
Knowledge of Wisconsin State Assessment Systems requirements and DPI accountibility processes
