Your Responsibilities as a Staff Environmental Scientist: Field collection of environmental samples (air, water, stormwater, wastewater, soil) Routine regulatory reporting related to stormwater, wastewater, solid/hazardouswaste, and airpermitcompliance Preparing environmental management plans related to stormwater pollutionprevention, spill prevention, and solid waste operations Inspection and auditing for environmental compliance Problem solvingthroughselectionand implementation ofpollution preventionBest Management Practices fordischarge permit compliance Support a variety of environmental engineering tasks for remedial system designand construction Assistwith the evaluation and permitting of environmental projects Presentationofenvironmentaltopics to employees, clients,and contractors Travel to project sites within Washington and Oregonrequired RepresentApexin a safe and professional manner both internally and externally What we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering,Geologyor related field Master's degreea plus Experience collecting field samples of soil, groundwater, surface water, stormwater, wastewater, and air using standard environmental protocols Experience preparing regulatory reports and permit-related documentation Why you'll love working withus: Medical, dental and vision plan options.
