Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while enjoying the experience of a new location. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic tests and procedures. Operate advanced medical equipment to capture images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting required.
• MUST have Cath Lab experience; able to scrub and assist in Cath procedures and PCIs.
• Experience with insertion and handling of Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump devices.
• Proficient in use of C-arm fluoroscopy equipment and routine LEAD maintenance.
• Certified to work with fluoroscopy; able to assist in fluoroscopic procedures.
• Skills in interventional radiology procedures including nephrostomy tube insertion, PICC insertion, permacath insertion, pacemaker insertion, and cerebral thrombectomy preferred.
• RT skills that encompass RCIS responsibilities preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred).
• State-specific licensure required when applicable. Priority given to NJ ARRT license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from CCI preferred.
• Experience functioning in roles covering on-call responsibilities and rapid response within facility timeframes preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 06:30 - 17:00.
• On-call coverage required. Must be able to respond within 30 minutes of page; call coverage 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday.
• On-call expectation includes approximately 9 shifts per month minimum and four days per week of on-call rotation as specified by the client.
• Candidates may be expected to perform duties across procedural areas consistent with Cath Lab and IR responsibilities.
