Phlebotomist Float

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist Float in San Clemente, California to perform blood collections across multiple clinic locations. The role involves venipuncture and capillary techniques, specimen processing, patient data entry, and billing duties with a flexible schedule and travel between sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specialized specimens for drug screens, paternity, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Prepare specimens for testing and process billing information
- Travel between clinic sites and provide customer service to patients
Requirements
- California state-issued phlebotomy license (CPT) or filed application
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- At least 21 years of age
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation for site travel
- 1+ years phlebotomy experience preferred
Compensation: $23.00-$33.00 base; float incentive additional $1.50/hr plus mileage reimbursement; quarterly performance bonus eligible
