Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center. Department focuses on Adult Trauma Population, Post Surgical Management for General Surgery, Vascular Surgery (Carotid, etc.), Neuro Surgery. Patient Ratio 1:1-3. 8 Beds. Job Requirements

Must have BLS (AHA). Must have ACLS (AHA). Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start. Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals. Ascension Pharmacology Exam with minimum 80% score, updated every 3 years. Ascension Specialty Exam with minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, updated every 3 years. Ascension Color Vision test, updated every 3 years. Ascension Core Competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA Topics, updated every 3 years. NIH Certification (Group A updated yearly, Group B-F every 2 years). Ascension EKG Exam with minimum 80% score, updated every 3 years. Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation. Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding completed onsite. Ascension Badge Photo (forward facing headshot with white or blue background). Documented proof of two MMR vaccines or Positive IGG Titer; no declinations accepted. Fit Test required for all travelers, updated annually. Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination. Health Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually. Driver's License/State ID must be current and match address on file. 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with required timing and annual TB Questionnaire. Documented proof of two Varicella vaccines, serological evidence of immunity, or verification of history; no declinations accepted. Valid Tdap within 10 years; no declinations accepted. Ascension Profile (Resume or Profile). At least two professional references prior to first assignment. Ascension Criminal Background Check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, completed within 30 days prior to first assignment and updated annually. Ascension EPLS run within 90 days of start and rerun if break in service >90 days. Ascension Skills Checklist clinical only, completed within one year of start and updated annually for specialty. Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start and updated annually. Ascension Education Verification within 90 days of start. Ascension Confirmation of Assignment upon initial assignment and updates upon extension. Ascension Employment Verification for past seven years, updated annually. Schedule Information
