Resource Manager

Position Overview As a Resource Manager, you will serve as the conduit between our people and our work partnership with leadership to make strategic casting decisions that support our Famously Effective work. You will focus on day‑to‑day resource shifts and long‑term planning, aligning talent with projects and cultivating highly effective teams that consistently deliver exceptional results for our clients. You will report to the Director of Resource Management and play a pivotal role in codifying and optimizing resourcing across the agency. Key Responsibilities Identify areas for process enhancements and propose solutions to cultivate a connected and inclusive agency culture. Own department‑level resourcing and partner with leads across finance, account, project management, HR, TA, and department heads. Maintain data integrity and quality assurance of the capacity planning tool. Maintain team org charts and allocations. Support new business efforts by prioritizing resources to align with project needs. Identify skill‑set gaps, cross‑training opportunities, and provide strategic guidance on optimal client team structures with staff plans and growth paths in mind. Lead regular resourcing meetings, ensuring talent utilization and resolving conflicts. Manage and prioritize coverage of PTO, internal projects, and global needs. Own weekly capacity reviews with teams and discussion recaps. Liaise with the internal recruitment team for freelance sourcing and projections. Who You Are An entrepreneurial team player with a systems‑thinking mindset and sharp analytical skills. Top‑tier Microsoft Excel skills. Comfortable navigating a creative and fast‑paced environment. Proactive, confident, and adept at prioritizing competing demands. Able to lead meetings, drive conversations, and resolve conflicts. Comfortable with complex systems and capable of storytelling with data. Impeccable attention to detail. What You Will Need 3+ years of experience in creative resource management or production/project management within an agency environment. Firm grasp of the creative process in an agency setting. Strong understanding of the functional skills and responsibilities of various creative, studio, strategy, and project management roles. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to motivate and influence at all levels. Understanding of talent/resource management reporting, metrics, and tools. Compensation Pay Range: $45,000–$100,000 USD Benefits We offer a competitive benefits package.
