As a Part Time Security Officer at a Senior Care and Rehabilitation Facility in Allentown PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Valid Drivers License:
  Candidates must possess a valid drivers license that complies with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This includes:
  • A current and valid license issued by the appropriate authority.
  • No significant driving violations or restrictions that would impede the ability to perform job duties.
  • Compliance with any additional requirements as specified in the AU Driver Policy.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents visitors and staff while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents resident concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential areas common spaces parking areas and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Document observations incidents and patrol activities accurately and promptly and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
