The opportunity You’ll step into a well‑resourced litigation environment where cases are genuinely complex and outcomes matter. From premises liability to construction defect, personal injury defense to transportation, the work is varied, high‑exposure, and meaningful. You’ll appear in court, lead depositions, argue motions, and sit at the trial table. You’ll collaborate directly with partners and communicate with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel with real authority. What does the opportunity involve? Manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution or trial Draft and argue pleadings, motions, appellate briefs, and discovery Take and defend depositions; represent clients in court and at arbitrations Conduct in-depth legal research and develop case strategy Retain and collaborate with expert witnesses Participate in mediations, arbitrations, court conferences, and trials Advise clients and stakeholders with strategic, practical counsel Manage deadlines and assignments with a high degree of independence Meet a 1,950‑hour annual billable requirement We are looking for: 2+ years of civil litigation experience Strong legal drafting and oral advocacy skills Deposition and/or trial experience This role represents two confidential client opportunities in the New York insurance defense and litigation market.
