We help adults of all ages with chronic illnesses and physical or developmental disabilities regardless of their income.We have an amazing opportunity for aFull Life Care - Homecare Specialist (Beacon Hill, WA)to join our team!**\*\*\* Great News! The hourly rate for this role has increased to $25.10! \*\*\******This position is represented by SEIU Local 775*****Our Homecare Specialists:*** Provide non-medical care tasks to clients as outlined in their care plans.* Guide and actively assisting Homecare Aides with various client needs, including personal care, bathing, toileting, dressing, transfers, ambulation, and positioning.* Facilitate and maintain communication between the client, their Homecare Aide, and the Homecare Supervisor when necessary.* Effectively and promptly communicating client changes to Homecare Supervisors.* Serve as an on-site problem-solver for both the Homecare Aide and the client.* Participate in team meetings to discuss client concerns and program updates.* Assist with clerical tasks such as payroll entry, filing, orientations, processing applications, and contacting clients and Homecare Aides as needed.* Demonstrate knowledge of all homecare training procedures and tools.* Think critically in the field and seeking direction from Homecare Supervisors as needed.* Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information**What You Need to Succeed:*** A high school diploma or GED is highly preferred but not required.* A minimum of one (1) year of professional work experience.* Completion of all required state-mandated training and certifications.* Ability to complete tasks and projects as assigned by your supervisor.* Proficiency (written/verbal) in English language.* Strong organizational skills to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.* Availability to be reached and respond quickly to client emergencies.* Experience with Hoyer lifts and completion of Nurse Delegation and Nurse Delegation for Diabetes training highly preferred.**Physical Requirements:*** Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.* Capability to travel intermittently throughout the day.* Ability to assist clients with walking, transferring, and bathing.
