Schedule: 24-hour trauma service with flexible shift options including 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts; alternate weekends and on-call assignments required; holiday rotation with facility staff

• Level II Trauma Center with 309-bed capacity and 12 OR suites including 2 cardiovascular operating rooms
• Circulating role supporting diverse surgical specialties including Trauma, General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Vascular, ENT, and Plastics
• 1:1 patient ratio with comprehensive support staff including orderlies, anesthesia techs, and unit secretaries following AORN staffing recommendations
• Meditech documentation system with policies aligned to AORN standards
• Award-winning facility recognized nationally for excellence in Orthopedic Surgery, Spine Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Gastrointestinal Surgery, and Surgical Care
• Traveler-friendly environment with rotating float assignments based on skillset and volume

Requirements:

• Active Florida Registered Nurse license or compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of perioperative nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to circulate in trauma and general, orthopedic, neuro, and vascular procedures
• Experience with total joint procedures, orthopedic trauma, robotic surgery (general, bariatrics, urology), craniotomy procedures, ENT, and plastics preferred
