A night shift pharmacist position is available at a 200-bed community hospital in Florida, ideal for candidates with hospital inpatient experience and a valid Florida pharmacy license. This contract assignment offers a 7-on, 7-off schedule working from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing a balanced work-life rhythm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles in patient care
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication management
• Utilize Meditech and Pyxis systems for medication distribution and documentation

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Florida pharmacist license
• Experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy settings
• Willingness and availability to work night shifts

Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Night shift hours: 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM

This contract role begins as soon as possible and has a duration of approximately 13 weeks, with potential for extension based on needs.
