- Perform comprehensive patient exams, diagnostics, and medical work-ups; develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide general surgery and dentistry; ensure high standards of anesthesia and perioperative care
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, options, and home care; manage discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold best practices in documentation
- Prescribe medications and adhere to controlled substance protocols
- Participate in daily rounds; monitor hospitalized cases to support continuity and quality of care
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to refine protocols, manage priorities, and enhance workflow
- Contribute to staff training, mentorship, and a positive, team-first culture Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Active Georgia veterinary license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, surgical, and dental skills
