Wound Care Nurse

Wound Care Clinician-MA, LVN or RNHill Country Wound Care and Hyperbarics is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinician to join our clinical team. This position will play a key role in supporting patient care, assisting providers, and ensuring efficient clinic operations.Key Responsibilities• Assist providers with wound care procedures, including room preparation and supply management.• Record vital signs, patient history, and other relevant clinical information.• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for patient care.• Educate patients and families on wound care instructions as directed by the provider.• Assist with hyperbaric oxygen therapy support under supervision.• Coordinate referrals, schedule follow-up appointments, and manage patient flow.• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).• Support infection control and safety standards within the clinic.• Provide compassionate and professional care to all patients.Qualifications• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or higher degree preferred.• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited medical assisting program strongly preferred.• Previous experience in wound care, hyperbarics, or specialty care setting is a plus.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care.• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred.Work EnvironmentThis position is based in our wound care clinic, where the team is dedicated to restoring health and enhancing lives.
