Temporary Quality Control Associate

Assignment Duration: ~1 year starting ASAP Job Overview An engineering and construction company is seeking a detail-driven Temporary Quality Control Associate to support quality assurance and inspection activities . This hands-on role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment compliance, inspection accuracy, and project quality standards across installation operations. Skills & Qualifications Experience in quality control, quality assurance, or site inspection Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and document discrepancies Familiarity with inspection processes, compliance standards, and reporting tools Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction or engineering environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Key Responsibilities Perform incoming inspection for all equipment entering the facility Conduct subassembly inspections for all assembled equipment Document and track deficiencies using a Project Open Items Log Coordinate joint inspections with external stakeholders (e.g., MBTA Quality team) Maintain and manage a quality inspection schedule Establish and oversee a defective materials control area Communicate deficiencies to the Inventory Manager Ensure proper handling and relocation of non-conforming materials Support quality control processes tied to change management and compliance Use only approved baseline project documentation and forms Generate inspection forms at the time of inspection for accuracy Create and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) Review incoming inspection reports and installation test reports , logging any open items Develop and track quality control metrics using project logs Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for deficiencies Founded in 1969, JOHN LEONARD, a woman-owned business, is the premier staffing choice in Boston and beyond.
