REGISTERED NURSE - LABOR/DELIVERY

Job Title

Job Summary: To assess, plan, implement the nursing care to meet the patients needs, by following the appropriate policy and procedures of the assigned department.

Education: Position requires an associates degree (A.A) or diploma program.

Registration/Certification/Licensure: Registered Nurse Certification; State Licensure

Experience: Position requires a minimum of one year direct experience in Labor/Delivery, OR circulator role, Post Partum and Newborn Nursery. CPR and NRP required. PACU experience preferred.

Other Requirements: Maintain unit specific and hospital competencies in accordance with policy requirements. Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
