Patient Care Advocate

To support a growing call center, the part-time Patient Care Advocate will assist patients with appointment scheduling and medical requests while working remotely in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities Answers incoming calls and serves as the primary communication point for patients, focusing on exceptional customer service Utilizes EHR systems to manage patient information and appointment scheduling effectively Resolves patient inquiries by researching solutions and escalating issues as necessary while maintaining call center performance metrics Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred Two+ years of experience in an inbound call center environment One year of healthcare experience, such as a Medical Assistant or similar role Strong telephone soft skills with a patient-first attitude Familiarity with the EPIC system is a plus Virtual Vocations Inc
