Deco Products Company was founded in 1960 in downtown Decorah. Today, we are the largest stand-alone dedicated zinc die caster in North America, producing high-quality components used in products across many industries.
Our parts are found in everyday products such as:
- Office furniture components

- RV and motorhome hardware
- HVAC and electrical components
- Household products like broom and mop assemblies

What You'll Do
As a Machine Operator, you will operate zinc die cast machines that produce parts used in assembly and powder coat operations.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Operate and monitor die cast machines
- Make basic machine adjustments
- Troubleshoot minor issues to keep production running
- Safely work with molten zinc
- Lift and move finished production parts
- Use hand tools when needed
- Keep machines and work areas clean and organized
- Work with supervisors, quality, and engineering teams
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machines, staying active, and solving problems on the job.
What We're Looking For
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly
- Basic math and mechanical ability
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
- Attention to detail and safety
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
Education & Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Mechanical aptitude preferred
- Manufacturing experience helpful but not required we will train the right candidate
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
