Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Required Certifications: AHA or ARC only Must-Have: - Level I Trauma experience required. - Previous travel experience required. - PA or compact license required. - Proficiency with the Davinci xi robot and preferably familiar with the DV5 Davinci robot.

Description: Special scheduling requests and blocked scheduling cannot be approved. Travelers will be expected to work as needed by the unit. Candidates will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit. If clinical passes and meets guidelines, candidates will be sent to the manager for final decision. Manager will conduct interviews. Call requirements include 2-3 calls within a 6-week matrix with a 30-minute response required. Maximum requested time off is 7 days. Expected to work 3-4 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix, which can be days, evenings, or nights. Availability for holidays is as needed and may include day, evening, or night shifts. Floating may be required as needed. Candidates should be proficient in scrubbing and circulating. Must be able to function independently in the following specialties: Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, and Trauma. May care for COVID patients. Facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. Additional Information: Daily census is approximately 50-60 patients across various age groups including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The unit has 18 rooms with a total of 593 beds. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. Candidates will be required to pass an EKG exam within 72 hours of signing their travel contract. Modules will be completed prior to starting and generally take 5-6 hours.
