PGO Resource Specialist

Overview At an Area level, the Resource Specialist supports a diverse Operations team to achieve company objectives and is responsible for the execution of construction, maintenance and restoration activities associated with Customer Delivery and Grid Investment. This position has overall responsibility for meeting project costs (multi-million dollar annual capital & maintenance spend), quality and timeliness through work planning, effective job execution, monitoring crew productivity, prerequisite management, reviewing work plans and job design, material and equipment management, coordination of site and equipment delivery with other departments (both internal and external), crew safety and quality construction audits. It manages these aspects through effective collaboration of all stakeholders at the designated location(s) and others who influence operational excellence. This includes facilitating collaboration sessions with these groups to review overall performance and trends regarding KPIs. The role requires leadership with Craft and non-Craft employees to support construction, maintenance and restoration activities and yields operational effectiveness at the assigned location(s). It supports the execution of work to meet customer needs and works to resolve and mitigate customer satisfaction items for the respective work site(s). It supports management of customer commitment dates and requests to increase customer satisfaction and ensures adherence to safe work practices, human performance, standards, work methods and procedures. Responsibilities Manage the execution of construction, maintenance and restoration activities for Customer Delivery and Grid Investment to meet project costs, quality and schedule targets. Plan work, monitor crew productivity, manage prerequisites, review work plans and job designs, and coordinate material and equipment with internal and external departments. Coordinate site and equipment delivery and ensure safety and quality construction audits are conducted. Collaborate with stakeholders to review performance and KPIs, and address customer satisfaction items for assigned work sites. Demonstrate leadership with Craft and non-Craft employees to drive operational effectiveness. Support management of customer commitment dates and requests to improve customer satisfaction. Ensure adherence to safe work practices and related standards and procedures. Basic Requirements Bachelors degree and 4 years of related experience High school diploma/GED and 6 years of related experience Additional Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated good computer skills — knowledge of Customer Delivery computer systems, Outlook and Microsoft Office products Demonstrated effective communication skills (oral and written) Demonstrated ability to be self-directed Possesses satisfactory work availability, during and after work hours Demonstrated effective influencing skills Demonstrated good interpersonal skills Possesses experience in multiple roles in Distribution Possesses strong Customer Delivery Operations experience (6 years) Demonstrated working knowledge of Customer Delivery Safe Work Practices Possesses in-depth knowledge of Customer Delivery design and quality standards Possesses an exceptional personal safety record Demonstrated effective leadership skills Possesses excellent Customer Delivery Operations experience (8 years) Demonstrated excellent knowledge of Customer Delivery design and quality standards Demonstrated ability to achieve team results through others CDL/DOT certification Working Conditions Field Mobility — work will be performed in various field locations as needed after onboarding. Field employees are required to live within a reasonable daily commute to their assigned work location.
