Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel Tell us about the unit(s): · Number of Beds – 36 Beds · Number of Staff – 55 employees · Type of staff: o Day Shift – 1 Clinical coordinator/ 6 RN’s / 3 techs / 1 unit secretary o Night Shift – 1 Clinical coordinator/ 6 RN’s / 2 techs · Patient Ratios – 1:6 · Type of equipment – Baxter IV pumps/ Medfusion pumps/ SCD’s · EMR – Meditech Must have : 2 years recent med surg hospital experience · BLS Preferred or nice to have : · Familiar with post-operative patients · Competent with dressing changes/ wound care/ drain management List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · Care of the post-operative patient · Maintain drains · Wound care Best personality Fit: · Team player with positive attitude · Strong patient advocate · Able to work in a fast pace environment Application and testing from agency required to be submitted.
