Tractor Trailer Driver

Pay: $70000 per year Location: 3134 N Freeway Industrial Loop, Tucson, AZ, 85705-5001 Schedule: Sundays are mandatory - days depend on business needs, 12AM - 10AM Minimum Qualifications 21 years or older Possess a valid Class "A" commercial driver's license Have at least 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or more than 2,500 accident-free hours Willing to work holidays and weekends Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation Ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to five hours daily, with or without a reasonable accommodation Ability to work up to 14 hours a day and drive a tractor trailer for extended periods of time, up to 11 hours per day, with or without a reasonable accommodation Safely deliver beloved brands like Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos to local stores and keep shelves stocked for your community. What You'll Do Safely operate a tractor/trailer and transport products to and from specified destinations in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Load and unload trailers, which may include manual loading, palletized loading/unloading, use of a two-wheeler, and lifting product overhead Transport chips, dips, and more to large grocery stores, Frito-Lay manufacturing facilities, rural storage units, and other traffic centers Obtain signatures of receipt, pick up returns, complete logs and paperwork related to deliveries, and review invoices and/or manifests Use an electronic logging device, such as a tablet or onboard computer, and complete pre- and post-trip truck inspections Communicate with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch throughout the day or night What to Expect On-the-Job Training: Learn the role through hands-on and classroom training High Energy Workplace: On the go for most of the day in a fast?paced, hands?on environment that involves lifting, bending, and moving product throughout your shift Health & Lifestyle Benefits: As a full?time team member, you'll be supported with competitive pay, meaningful benefits, and opportunities to grow a long?term career at PepsiCo.
