CDL-A Regional Driver

Pay: $1,400 to $1,500 per week Home Time: Out 7 to 10 days with 34-48 hour reset Freight: 100% no-touch dry van freight | 90% drop and hook Location: Birmingham, AL 35203 Driver-friendly scheduling with steady OTR freight Average 2,500 to 3,000 miles per week New equipment with inverter and refrigerator Running primarily East of I-35 Practical OTR scheduling and consistent freight flow help CDL-A drivers stay productive on this full-time position with Jamie Tharpe Trucking. Drivers average 2,500 to 3,000 miles weekly while hauling 100% no-touch dry van freight with 90% drop and hook loads. Most routes operate East of I-35, although drivers may occasionally run outside that area based on customer needs. Dry van trailers and Qualcomm Elogs are provided, and approved riders are welcome through the rider policy program. Qualifications: 3 to 6 months of tractor trailer experience in the last year or 1 year of tractor trailer experience within the last 3 years is required. Drivers must possess a valid CDL-A license, current medical card, and maintain a Clearinghouse record free of violations. Applicants must also have 12 months of safe driving following a safety termination. Onboarding Process: Remote orientation is provided before drivers are routed to the nearest terminal for truck assignment. Hotel accommodations are provided before pickup, lunch is included before dispatch, and drivers receive $200 onboarding pay.
