We are working with a highly regarded law firm in Orlando that is seeking a talented Civil Litigation Attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience. If you are ready to take on greater responsibility, manage your own matters, and continue developing as a trial lawyer, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
This is an in-office position with an 1,800-hour annual billable requirement.
What You'll Do

Handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
Conduct case assessments and legal research, and develop effective litigation strategies
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda
Take and defend depositions and attend hearings and mediations
Prepare for and participate in trials
Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status, strategy, and outcomes
What We're Looking For

J.D. from an accredited law school
Member of The Florida Bar in good standing
3 to 5 years of civil litigation experience in Florida state and/or federal court
Experience drafting and arguing motions and taking and defending depositions
Trial or trial preparation experience preferred
Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
Professional demeanor and strong client relations skills
