South Peak Pools is a local, family-owned custom pool builder expanding our services to include ongoing residential pool care and maintenance.

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented  Pool Care Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. This position has the opportunity to grow into additional hours as our pool care route expands.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is comfortable working independently and understands the importance of providing consistent, professional service at our clients’ homes.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly residential pool cleaning and maintenance
• Test and balance pool water chemistry
• Safely add chemicals as needed
• Skim debris and vacuum pools
• Brush pool walls, steps, spas and waterline tile
• Empty skimmer and pump baskets
• Inspect pool equipment and identify potential concerns
• Maintain accurate service records and client notes
• Report equipment issues, water-quality concerns or property damage to management
• Keep the company vehicle, tools and equipment clean and organized
• Provide friendly and professional service to clients

Qualifications

• Previous pool cleaning or maintenance experience is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of pool equipment and water chemistry is an asset
• Dependable, punctual and able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional and respectful when working at clients’ homes
• Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather
• Able to safely lift and carry pool equipment and chemical containers
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Willingness to learn and follow South Peak Pools’ service standards

Schedule

• Part-time to start
• Approximately 15–25 hours per week
• Generally scheduled during weekday daytime hours
• Initial schedule will likely consist of two to three workdays per week
• Exact days and hours may vary as the service route develops
• Opportunity for increased hours as the pool care division grows

Compensation and Equipment

• $18–$25 per hour, depending on experience
• Company vehicle provided for work-related use
• Company gas card provided
• Pool care tools, equipment and supplies provided
• Training provided based on experience level
