Principal Procurement Specialist (Remote)

What You Will Do Perform procurement actions utilizing integrated supply chain models in compliance with all FAR/DFARS regulatory and corporate requirements. Preparation of all manner of solicitations including RFQs, RFPs, and RFI. Place Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity. Perform risk analysis and develop mitigation plans and solutions to problems. Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms). Analyze quotations/proposals utilizing price/cost analysis techniques. Manage Supplier Relationship, Development, and Performance. Communicate clearly and be proactive in a very fast-paced environment. Be flexible, innovative, work with speed and agility yet be thorough and compliant with government and Raytheon regulations, while successfully driving tasks to completion. Monitor procurement reports and help drive performance to meet company metric targets. Ability to travel as required. Qualifications University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience. Minimum 5 years’ experience with DoD procurement/subcontract compliance with Public Laws, Policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR), ITAR or import/export requirements. Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, T&M, etc.). U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or STEM field. Demonstrated knowledge/compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS). Experience analyzing Cost and Pricing Data and determining proposal compliance (FAR 15.4). Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) review. Experience with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
