Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Labor and Delivery \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: ASAP \n Duration: 9 weeks \n 36 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, nights \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n Job Summary: \n Provides coordinated nursing care for individual patients or assigned patient groups based on established standards and the nursing process. \n Supervises and directs activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. \n Coordinates patient care with other healthcare disciplines. \n Utilizes critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in care delivery. \n Ensures adherence to standards of care and protocols. Job Requirements: Education: \n Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. \n Experience: \n Acute care facility experience preferred. \n Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required. \n Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required (per AH policy). \n Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required (facility specific). \n Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) required (department specific). \n Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required (department specific). \n Neonatal Resuscitation Program (AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS) certification required (department specific). \n Med Ninjas Job ID 14904.
