Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students during the 2026-27 academic year as an onsite school psychologist. In this full-time contract role (40 hours per week), you'll work within a supportive school environment, collaborating as an essential team member to help identify and address the academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of students. Typical hours are expected to fall between 7:00-3:00 or 8:30-4:30, depending on your specific school assignment. Caseload details will be discussed during the interview process.
Requirements:
- Current Nebraska state license as a School Psychologist
- Experience or strong knowledge working within K-12 settings
- Familiarity with developing and implementing behavior and academic intervention plans
- Expertise in collaborating as part of Multidisciplinary, Intervention, Safety, Building, or Crisis teams
- Strong communication and counseling skills for supporting students, staff, and families
- Ability to provide school-based crisis intervention and counseling services
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students with educational disabilities who may require special education services
- Actively participate on Multidisciplinary Teams and potentially additional school-based teams
- Help design and implement evidence-based interventions for students’ academic and behavioral success
- Offer crisis support and serve as a resource for staff, students, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
