Work Environment\nThis remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while still engaging closely with team members through telehealth services. While your primary role will be facilitated remotely, you will be part of a collaborative effort with educators, families, and service providers focused on delivering quality early intervention services to children. Regular meetings and training sessions will be held online to promote teamwork and support your professional development.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to determine eligibility for early intervention services. \n
- Engage in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that reflect the unique needs and priorities of the family. \n
- Monitor and document outcomes, actively participating as a member of a multidisciplinary team. \n
- Provide supportive resources and guidance to families, empowering them to enhance their children's development. \n
- Utilize evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment Practices to foster effective interventions. \n
- Collaborate with school staff and community resources to ensure a holistic approach to each child's care. \n
- Deliver training and support to family members, emphasizing coaching models and natural environment teaching techniques. \n
- Adhere to all Federal and State regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all. \n
In this role, you will focus on providing essential early intervention services to young children, including those with disabilities or delays in their physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. Your work will directly impact the developmental trajectories of these children and support their families in navigating the challenges they face. By fostering strong relationships with clients and their families, you will help create individualized plans that prioritize their needs and aspirations.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution. \n
- Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the Department of Public Health in California. \n
- A valid driver’s license is required for occasional in-person visits. \n
- A strong commitment to adhering to Natural Learning Environment Practices and early intervention methodologies. \n
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills, necessary for effective collaboration and documentation. \n
- Ability to effectively adapt strategies based on individual learning styles and needs. \n
