Expected Duration: 12 months Job Description We are seeking a Data Center Project Manager (M&E) to join our dynamic team in the Enterprise Tech & Services, Enterprise Data Centers organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing MEP and mission critical construction projects in live data center environments and a proven ability to deliver end-to-end project lifecycle outcomes across scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and operational readiness. Responsibilities: Serve as primary project lead for mechanical, electrical, and critical infrastructure CAPEX initiatives. Develop and maintain scope, schedules, budgets, risk registers, status reports, and financial updates for stakeholders. Execute procurement, including RFP development, bid evaluation, vendor selection, and contract negotiation. Coordinate with internal engineering, data center operations, MEP consultants, and third-party providers to align with EDC standards and governance. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning for HVAC, UPS, generators, PDUs, controls, and fire/life safety systems. Manage project CAPEX budgets and support vendor payment processing. Ensure compliance with regulations, safety protocols, industry standards, and support for SLA/KPI commitments. Maintain documentation, status tracking, change management, and required meeting cadence. Support sustainability and certification goals such as LEED, WELL, WiredScore, and SmartScore through design and execution. Partner with data center operations to ensure seamless handover into steady-state operations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field preferred. 5-10+ years managing MEP or mission critical construction projects in data centers or similar environments. Strong knowledge of critical facility systems, including HVAC, UPS, generators, PDUs, controls, and commissioning processes. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage vendors, and control large project budgets. Clear communication skills for stakeholder management and documentation accuracy. Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments while upholding safety, quality, and governance standards. Preferred Skills: Experience in financial services data center environments and equipment refresh in live facilities. Background in owner-side project management across design, construction, and commissioning.
