Warehouse Manager

Warehouse ManagerXTEND is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse and materials operations at our Tampa, Florida facility. This role is central to supporting our drone platform manufacturing operations — ensuring accurate inventory, timely kitting for production, and smooth shipping and receiving of goods. The ideal candidate is highly organized, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting defence and commercial production lines.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate, real-time inventory levels across all warehouse locationsConduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories; investigate and resolve discrepanciesEnsure proper storage, labeling, and organization of raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished goodsMonitor stock levels and flag shortages or excess inventory to production planning and procurementOwn day-to-day warehouse transactions within the ERP system (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments)Ensure all inventory movements are accurately and promptly recorded to maintain data integrityPartner with operations and planning teams to keep BOM-driven stock data aligned with production needsGenerate and analyse ERP reports (stock status, inventory aging, kitting readiness) for leadershipManage the kitting process to ensure production lines receive complete, accurate component kits on scheduleCoordinate with production planning to prioritize kitting based on build schedulesIdentify and escalate shortages or missing components that could delay productionMaintain kitting area organization and traceability of issued componentsOversee receiving of incoming goods: inspect for accuracy, quality, and damage against purchase ordersManage outbound shipping operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and properly documented shipmentsCoordinate with freight carriers, customs brokers (for international shipments), and logistics partnersEnsure compliance with any applicable export control and defense-related shipping requirementsSupervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff (receiving, kitting, shipping personnel)Enforce safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environmentDevelop and improve warehouse processes, layout, and workflows for efficiency and accuracyCoordinate closely with Production, Procurement, Quality, and Engineering teamsRequirements3+ years of warehouse management experience, ideally in a manufacturing or production environmentHands-on experience with ERP systems (Priority, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) for inventory and warehouse transactionsExperience with kitting processes and BOM-based material managementStrong understanding of shipping/receiving procedures, including domestic and international logisticsProven leadership experience managing warehouse staffExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExperience in defence, aerospace, drone, or electronics manufacturing is a plusFamiliarity with export control regulations (ITAR/EAR) is a plusProficiency in Microsoft Excel; comfort with data-driven reporting
