About the Role:

Animal Health Center is a busy 24 hour full service hospital we are looking for a hard working and efficient kennel & daycare attendants for part time and full time positions. Experience working with animals in a hospital setting is a huge plus but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Feed and provide fresh water to all animals in the kennel.

Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a safe environment.

Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the veterinary staff.

Assist with bathing, grooming, and exercising pets as needed.

Provide companionship and socialization to animals

Follow safety protocols and guidelines for handling animals.

Maintain accurate records of animal care and activities.

Support veterinary staff during procedures and treatments as required.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in animal care or kennel settings is a plus.

Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physical stamina to lift and handle animals of various sizes.

Knowledge of basic animal behavior and health indicators.

Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to animal welfare.

Certification in pet first aid and CPR is an advantage.
