Our client seeks a senior NetSuite consultant to lead a critical implementation and provide full-time stabilization and optimization support. The consultant will partner with finance to reason through GL and accounting requirements, define and defend design decisions, and implement solutions using SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, and related NetSuite technologies. The role requires hands-on build, cutover leadership, hypercare ownership, and clear communication with both technical and finance stakeholders.

Rate: $75.00 to $85.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Lead NetSuite direction, configuration, and architecture. Serve as the accountable voice for what should be done in NetSuite.
• Translate ambiguous business and accounting problems into concrete NetSuite solutions with root-cause understanding.
• Provide technical guidance and reviews for consultants and internal staff.
• Deliver go-live support and hypercare for the November 1 launch including troubleshooting, triage, and stabilization.
• Lead technical and functional cutover of integrations from Softrip to Ascent with data reconciliation and validation.
• Own end-to-end issue resolution during hypercare with root cause analysis, fixes, and documentation.
• Build and modify SuiteFlow workflows to resolve business process issues.
• Write and troubleshoot SuiteScript 1.0/2.x where workflows are insufficient.
• Work with SuiteTalk/REST APIs and SuiteQL to support integrations and reporting. Diagnose failures with systems such as Concur and Ascent.
• Create and refine saved searches, SuiteAnalytics reports, and dashboards for finance self-service.
• Serve as the ongoing NetSuite expert for finance post-stabilization.
• Advise on best practices for GL, AP/AR, month-end close, reconciliations, and multi-subsidiary/multi-currency.
• Identify downstream GL, close, or audit risks before configuration changes are built.
• Partner with finance and IT to diagnose and troubleshoot issues in real time.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including controller and CFO level.
• Document configuration decisions, workflows, integration logic, and resolutions for maintainability.

Experience Requirements:

• Proven leadership in NetSuite techno-functional roles with decision ownership.
• Hands-on SuiteFlow, SuiteScript 1.0/2.x, SuiteTalk/REST, and SuiteQL experience.
• Successful go-live, cutover, and hypercare execution with end-to-end ownership.
• Integration experience with adjacent systems such as Concur and Ascent.
• Strong finance and accounting fluency across GL, AP/AR, close, reconciliations, and multi-entity operations.
• Ability to translate between finance requirements and technical implementation.
• Clear documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
