EP Mapping Specialist - CAS, New Orleans, LA

Responsibilities Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products. Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures. Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures. Understand and support national, regional and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products. Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business. Work in partnership with Account Manager, Regional Manager and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities. Collaborate and strategize with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products. Collaborate and communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region. Serve as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support. Serve as a regional champion to share experience and influence others to be proficient in the mapping technology. Required Qualifications High school diploma PLUS a minimum of 6 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation. Associate degree PLUS a minimum of 4 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation. Bachelor degree plus a minimum of 2 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation. Preferred Qualifications B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with minimum four years of work experience in cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales. Proven track record with technical training assignments. Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical / clinical support. Ability to travel more than 25% of the time. Additional Job Requirements Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation. Required to be within the assigned territory every day to be available as unscheduled needs arise. Occasional travel outside of the assigned territory, possibly overnight. Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy; driving record is reviewed and considered. Ability to freely move throughout the facility, use a phone, keyboard and mouse, visually able to interact with personal computers. Must be able to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required. Benefits & Compensation Salary (USD) for U.S. locations (excl. PR): $120,000.00 - $125,000.00. In addition to base salary, the position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP).
