Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide both outpatient and inpatient care in Indiana, starting Sep 1, 2025, for a 120-day locum tenens assignment. The role requires managing a dynamic schedule that includes day shifts from Monday to Thursday, participation in Tumor Board meetings every Tuesday at 7 AM, and on-call duties during weeknights and weekends. Job Details Location: Indiana Start Date: Sep 1, 2025 LOA: 120 days Provider Type Needed: Hematology/Oncology Physician Schedule: 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday-Thursday Tumor Board every Tuesday at 7 AM On-call every other week from Monday 5 PM to Thursday 8 AM, and from Friday 5 PM to Monday 8 AM Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive care to hematology and oncology patients. Conduct 30-minute consultations with new patients. Manage 15-minute follow-up visits. Participate in and contribute to Tumor Board discussions. Manage both scheduled and emergency cases during on-call hours. Additional Information Board certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology required. Must be licensed to practice in Indiana. Experience with the Epic EMR system is essential for efficient patient care management.
