JOB SUMMARY:
Hog Slat, Incorporated, is seeking a full-time individual to join our feed mill team in Camden, IN, to fill the role of our Maintenance Technician position. This position will consist of multiple duties. Feed mill knowledge is suggested, but it is not required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.

• Repair high and low voltage electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Repairing or replacing defective equipment and/or parts
• Performing preventive measures of safeguarding the machinery against any kind of degradation on a regular basis
• Inspection, operation and recording of maintenance work and their costs
• Cleaning and lubricating of parts
• Maintaining overall cleanliness and proper functioning of the area or tools or the machinery

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have the following experience/educational background:

• Experience in Industrial Maintenance
• Experience with repairing high and low voltage electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Troubleshooting skills

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts, The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and/or extreme cold.
