This is a half-time opportunity for a pediatrician with strong procedural skills who thrives in a team environment and champions excellent outcomes for our sicker children. Candidates with pediatric urgent care or emergency department experience strongly preferred.Part-time (.50 FTE) 6-7 shifts per month (approximately)**Qualifications**:* Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required.* American Heart Association BLS.* Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date).* Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency for pediatrics.* Board certified/Board Eligible in their specialty area.* Pediatric urgent care or emergency department experience preferred.Cook Children's was recently ranked #1 on the Forbes' list of "America's Best Large Employers" in the “Health Care and Social Services” industry category.
